Mid-Season . Vigorous hardy bush produces very large, slightly flattened fruit with excellent flavor. Berries are firm with small recessed scars formed on tight clusters. Ornamental bushes have nice fall color. Patriot is known as one of the easiest blueberries to start. More tolerant of soil types and less fussy about PH. Great for home gardeners. Zones 3-8

Great place! The seed variety is great
Planted all 10 seeds but only 5 germinated. It was strange summer weather so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I'm in zone 6 outside of St Louis. However, that being said, this was the absolute BEST melon ever. So sweet...everyone agreed on that. No disease at all. Amazing. Harvested a total 41 melons. Planted them May 18th. They germinated May 24th. Harvested the first group of 7 from Aug1st-6th. They all weighed over 6lbs. I continued harvesting through Oct 22nd. They started getting smaller throughout the growing season. The largest 6.50lbs. The smallest 2.31. Will definitely plant again.
