One of the earliest watermelons we know; superb for the North, but it also grows well in heat and drought. The flesh is red and deliciously sweet. Fruit has a dark rind and weighs 8-12 lbs each. Developed in Northern Idaho where summer nights dip into 40°. Also performs well in hot climates, making this a wonderful taste summer for any gardener.
