Upright semi-spineless plants make it easy to harvest the slender, elongated fruit that sets on early. Glossy, bright purple fruits stay tender and non-bitter no matter the size. They have a tender skin that does not require peeling, making them great for dicing into stir-fry or slicing lengthwise for grilling. Harvest at 5-7″ long for baby size or 9-12″ long for full fruit size. Plants perform well in-ground or in container plantings.
