Feather Meal

Made from poultry feathers processed under heat and pressure, this is one of the highest-nitrogen organic fertilizers available. Its slow-release nitrogen provides steady nutrition throughout the growing season without burning plants. Ideal for vegetables, corn, gardens, and other crops.

Application Rate
Vegetable Gardens: Apply 2.5–5 lbs. per 100 sq. ft., mixing into the top 3″ of soil. For transplants, add 1–2 tbsp. per hole. Side-dress established plants with 1–2 oz. monthly.
Containers: Mix 1–2 tbsp. per gallon of soil or 2.5–5 lbs. per cubic yard. For established plants, apply monthly.
Trees & Shrubs: Apply 1–2 lbs. per inch of trunk diameter, spreading to the drip line. For new trees, mix 1 cup into the backfill soil. Water well after application.
