The sturdy, vigorous plants, 18-20″ tall, bear an abundant crop of round, stringless, and meaty pods, 6-7″ long. When ready to pick, pods are purple, but turn to rich green when boiled. Excellent for home freezing. Germinates in cool soil and resists beetles. Performs exceptionally well in cool weather.
