This unusual variety was an AAS winner! Deep purple on the outside and bright orange inside, it has a lovely sweet taste especially when raw. Lightly stir-fry to retain purple color. The roots are 8-9” long, and tapered with strong sturdy tops. Children love the idea of purple carrots, which make quite an eye sensation when sliced on a relish tray. Purple color will fade when cooked.
