Designed to be used during the growing season as a calcium supplement that’s available immediately for plant use.
Use Plant Calcium Boost If soil calcium levels are low, or you are seeing signs of calcium deficiencies in your growing crop. We suggest supplementing Plant Calcium Boost throughout the growing season to ensure calcium is available for the growing crop at the rate of 1 ounce per 1000 sq. feet. This can be applied before or after planting. If the soil pH is below 6 and calcium levels are more than moderately low, we suggest a dry lime application in the fall or early spring, along with supplementing with Plant Calcium Boost during the growing season. Depending upon the severity of the calcium deficiency, you may need to apply more than once.
Lime will work to build soil calcium and raise pH while the Plant Calcium Boost will be available immediately for plant use or uptake. :: Mixing Rate: 1 oz per gal. (add 1/2 cup Garden Cane Crystals to maximize the effects). Application Rate: 1 gal covers 1,000 sq. ft,
