A brightly colored acorn squash this versatile variety has bushy, mounding plants that load up with uniform 4″ x 4″ round to oval bright orange fruits, weighing approximately 1 lb each. Powdery Mildew resistant. The vibrant orange flesh has a great texture and a rich, sweet, and nutty flavor. It is good fried or baked and can also be used in pastas and soups. Wanted to show my Megatron Jalapeños they are huge! Just canned some cowboy candy! Great Jalapeño and true to the description! Will buy these again! We love visiting the store and taking the hour or so drive a few times a year to visit. So worth the trip. I also purchased some Superb canning lids they were a great price.
