Alfalfa Meal

Use Alfalfa Meal for plant and microorganism nutrition. Roses respond well to alfalfa meal. For new plantings, mix 1/2 cup into the planting hole before planting the rosebush. For existing plants, mix 1/2-1 cup around each rose bush, to a depth of 2″-3″. It is an excellent addition to the compost pile since it is high in protein and helps activate the composting. For flower and vegetable gardens work in 2-5 lb per 100 sq ft
