Alfalfa Meal
Use Alfalfa Meal for plant and microorganism nutrition. Roses respond well to alfalfa meal. For new plantings, mix 1/2 cup into the planting hole before planting the rosebush. For existing plants, mix 1/2-1 cup around each rose bush, to a depth of 2-3″. It is an excellent addition to the compost pile since it is high in protein and helps activate the composting. For flower and vegetable gardens work in 2-5 lb per 100 sq ft.

Great place! The seed variety is great
Planted all 10 seeds but only 5 germinated. It was strange summer weather so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I'm in zone 6 outside of St Louis. However, that being said, this was the absolute BEST melon ever. So sweet...everyone agreed on that. No disease at all. Amazing. Harvested a total 41 melons. Planted them May 18th. They germinated May 24th. Harvested the first group of 7 from Aug1st-6th. They all weighed over 6lbs. I continued harvesting through Oct 22nd. They started getting smaller throughout the growing season. The largest 6.50lbs. The smallest 2.31. Will definitely plant again.
I planted this for the first time last year. They did phenomenal! I can’t wait to plant more this year. They have stored very well also.
