Elderberry Plants
Elderberries start bearing a year or two after planting. The fruit contains more Vitamin C than oranges or grapefruit. The natural juices are high in antioxidants known to improve the immune system, and help fight off viruses. We offer sambucas canadensis, the native form of elderberry and also the best for nutraceutical purposes. These are named varieties with larger fruits. Plant one of each for more berries. Plants grow 6-8’ tall. Space 6’ apart. Hardy 2 year bare-root plants.

Planted all 10 seeds but only 5 germinated. It was strange summer weather so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I'm in zone 6 outside of St Louis. However, that being said, this was the absolute BEST melon ever. So sweet...everyone agreed on that. No disease at all. Amazing. Harvested a total 41 melons. Planted them May 18th. They germinated May 24th. Harvested the first group of 7 from Aug1st-6th. They all weighed over 6lbs. I continued harvesting through Oct 22nd. They started getting smaller throughout the growing season. The largest 6.50lbs. The smallest 2.31. Will definitely plant again.
I planted this for the first time last year. They did phenomenal! I can’t wait to plant more this year. They have stored very well also.
The Dream Team Medium roast whole bean coffee is excellent, no bitter taste, smooth and delicious.
