Insect Netting

SKU: OC8R4K2DH7NG5K30

Garden insect netting works well to protect vegetables, flowers, plants and fruits from birds, moths, and insects while letting water, air, and sunshine get through. See-through plant netting helps check the progress of your plants and is breathable, odorless, and flexible. Prevent UV and insect damage in summer. Can be cut to other sizes as needed; sturdy enough to fold up after the season and reuse. Lifetime: 5-6 years.
Testing indicates this mesh blocks SWD flies. Secure edges are a must for good control.
Pest control: The insect net can basically block all common garden pests. Significantly reduce the use of chemical pesticides while minimizing wind/ hail/ frost damage. Can be used to grow chemical-free crops.
Disease prevention: Virus disease is a catastrophic disease for many vegetables, mainly spread by insects- especially aphids. Insect nets cut off the main transmission way, therefore greatly helping to reduce the infection of vegetable viruses.
Easy to install. Cover plant directly or build a hoop or a grow tunnel, then place the netting on the frame.
Block sunlight: Insect nets can shade to a certain degree and reduce the possible inhibition caused by the strong light. Tests show insect nets help plants enjoy up to 3-5° lower temperature.
Material: 100% New HDPE, UV resistant fine mesh, neat double edge.
Mesh size = 1/32″ or 1024 holes per square inch.

Edit: They fixed the problem! Great customer service will be making all my future seed purchases here. :)

Went to go checkout online, I only ordered a few seeds and it says my shipping is going to be $50?! For the basic shipment. I live in ohio where berlin seed is and only a few hours away that just seems awfully expensive for seed shipment...

Planted all 10 seeds but only 5 germinated. It was strange summer weather so I'm sure that had something to do with it. I'm in zone 6 outside of St Louis. However, that being said, this was the absolute BEST melon ever. So sweet...everyone agreed on that. No disease at all. Amazing. Harvested a total 41 melons. Planted them May 18th. They germinated May 24th. Harvested the first group of 7 from Aug1st-6th. They all weighed over 6lbs. I continued harvesting through Oct 22nd. They started getting smaller throughout the growing season. The largest 6.50lbs. The smallest 2.31. Will definitely plant again.
