Analysis: 0-12-0-28Ca :: Phos-Agri is mined from the Meade Peak rock formation near Spanish Fork, Utah, and is the highest-available organic rock phosphate source in North America, supplying 14% natural phosphorus. This deposit is valued for its high calcium content and exceptionally low levels of heavy metals and impurities for long-term soil building.
An important fertilizer for strong rooting and fruiting, Phos-Agri is especially beneficial for fall-planted wheat, providing a steady release of phosphorus and calcium. Because it is more concentrated than soft rock phosphate, you can use 70% less to achieve similar results. It can also be applied to compost piles or added to bedded pack in barns to elevate phosphorus levels through manure. It is helpful when used on slippery barn floors to improve footing and help prevent animals from slipping.
