Corrects soil acidity and helps loosen heavy clay soils. Increases soil pH. Can be used to keep down odor and flies around stables, outhouses, etc. Supplies calcium to plants and microorganisms. Sweetens the soil and turns hydrangeas pink. :: Application Rates: 1 lb. per 30 sq. ft. Make your own whitewash: 5 lb / 1 gal. water. Let set overnight. Dissolve 1/2 lb salt to 2 qt warm water. Mix well and apply.
