Corrects soil acidity and helps loosen heavy clay soils. Increases soil pH. Can be used to keep down odor and flies around stables, outhouses, etc. Supplies calcium to plants and microorganisms. Sweetens the soil and turns hydrangeas pink. Application Rates: 1 lb per 30 sq ft. Make your own whitewash: 5 lb / 1 gal water. Let set overnight. Dissolve 1/2 lb salt to 2 qt warm water. Mix well and apply.
