Each bit of biochar becomes a host for bacteria and fungi, whose presence anchors the rest of the soil biology. Biochar thus becomes an active storehouse to stockpile essential nutrients. Their interactions provide a natural way to make nitrogen and other important elements readily available to the roots, increasing the cation exchange capacity of your soil. Preload Biochar by mixing with compost or saturate with liquid product like Sea 90 Mineral.
